As I write this, a ridiculous mixture is drying on my face.  I smell like jam.  But I’ll get back to that later.

I’m pretty certain that I end up linking to Yes & Yes every. single. Lazy. Sunday.  This Sunday is no exception! Taylor Roades wrote a guest post about traveling to Northern Thailand that is giving me a pretty serious case of wanderlust.  Is it weird that I’ve never before felt the overwhelming urge to travel anywhere in Asia?  It just didn’t seem like my jam. Thailand looks like it would be the exception.

You probably don’t know this, but I’m a huge beauty junkie.  I’ve never really been blown away by any lip stains (though I haven’t tried the new Revlon ones everyone is raving about), but I’m absolutely dying to try this KoolAid lip DIY from The Beauty Department.

I’m still not sure how I personally feel about pumpkin spice lattes, but if they inspired Kristen of KV’s Confessions to make this pretty September calendar, I’m all for them.

So the reason this week’s links section is super-short is really two-fold: 1) It was syllabus week, and unlike most people, syllabus week makes me panic.  I mean, I cried, for no reason at all.  I only had 45 pages of reading and there I was, bawling.  This did not leave much time for perusing the internet.  On a much happier note, 2) I made my own face mask that I’m excited to share with you all!

In a small bowl or custard dish, combine:

2 mashed strawberries

1 tsp honey

1 dash baking powder

1 tsp apple cider vinegar

2 tbsp oatmeal

Smear that goodness on your face, neck, and chest.

Wait 20 minutes.

Rinse and admire.
